The legitimacy of this product is given by what is the facial care product in human cosmetics. We don’t usually apply body lotion to our faces because we know exactly how the face and the area around the eyes requires gentler care. This is a particularly sensitive area, the simple fact is that our two most sensitive senses (our eyes and nose) can also be found here. These areas need to be sensitive, as we capture most of what is happening in the outside world with our eyes, and our noses are used to more accurately identify the chemicals in our environment. Now imagine that all of this is exponentially true for dogs and cats, given that a dog has at least 10,000 times more sensitive sense of smell and a kitten’s vision is at least 6-8 times more sensitive than ours.

 

In light of the above, the following questions arise:

Would I dare to use a cleaning tonic for general purpose in my dog’s wrinkle?

Shouldn’t I be afraid that the chemicals in it would not irritate the senses, which are 2 cm from the treatment site and 10,000X more sensitive than mine?

Would I dare wipe the tear directly from under my kitten’s eyes? Wouldn’t I be afraid that the smell / volatile components of the product might irritate my cat’s eyes?

We asked ourselves these questions, when we realized that we ourselves would not apply anything with these harmful substances to our French bulldogs, pugs,Siamese, tabby kittens or any pet incase of potential irritation.

WHAT PURPOSE AND WHAT SYMPTOMS SHOULD WE USE THE PRODUCT?

• It can be used for general, regular, irritation-free cleaning of wrinkles on the facial skin.
• To care for the area around the eyes to clean and lighten any tears
• For the additional treatment of irritations, redness, hair loss, known or unknown infections on the face, and to remove discharge from the eyes.
• It can effectively help control the spread of microbial infections.

WHAT BREEDS OF DOGS AND CATS ARE ESPECIALLY WORTH USING THIS PRODUCT?

The product can be used on dogs and cats of all breeds to keep the area around the nose clean and to thoroughly and gently cleanse the hair / skin around the eyes with a soothing effect.

Especially recommended for

• brachycephalic dogs (pug, french bulldog, english bulldog, boston terrier, pekingese, shih tzu, chow chow, lhasa apso, cavalier king charles spaniel, etc.) and kittens (persian, british shorthair, selkirk rex, silver persian, etc.)

EFFICIENT CLEANING WITHOUT COMEDOGENIC MATERIALS

By comedogenic effect, Anything that disrupts the sebum outflow on the skin can lead to clogged pores on the skin. The ability of oils and other ingredients that can clog the skin pores is understood and evaluated in our products.This practice is important in both humans and animals. Even more so in animals, as they are unable to produce sweat, which could help wash out clogged pores. So we have to pay close attention to what we apply to the skin of our best friend.

For all formulations containing oil, the comedogenic activity of the lipophilic (fat-soluble) components used must be investigated. As our product is biphasic, with the upper (sun-yellow) phase consisting of oils, each oil has been selected to have a minimal comedogenic index to exclude any risk of irritation during use.

Thus, by combining the pleasant with the useful, we have obtained an effective cleaning formula that copes with lipophilic impurities and secretions, but nevertheless has minimal irritation potential. Win-Win.

A TWO-PHASE FORMULA, BUT WHY?

Why does a product need to be two-phase? Why not just wet or just oily?

Well, the question is very simple to answer. Because there are impurities, secretions that are lipophilic (fat-soluble), others are hydrophilic (water-soluble). With aqueous-surfactant solutions alone, an acceptable cleansing effect can be achieved only at very high trade-offs (strong rubbing, harmful substances remaining on the skin, etc.), which in many cases is completely ineffective in removing tear stains. And only oily formulas clearly make it difficult to remove water-soluble impurities and deposits. That is why we have decided to develop a two-phase formula that can super-effectively remove all types of dirt, stains and mucus that exhibit chemical behavior.

All you need to do is shake it well, press the plate cap and both hydrophilic and lipophilic impurities can be easily removed from the skin and hair surface, as the oily phase removes the lipophilic and the aqueous phase the hydrophilic components.

Due to these inconveniences, we have introduced innovative packaging that allows the liquid to be dispensed accurately, demandingly and in the right amount on a standard cosmetic cotton swab.

Why is the right pH important for this type of product?

This question is very easy to answer, it is important because if there is a substance in the wrinkle, closed coat or skin segment of an animal, the substance will “work” under the influence of body heat and change the composition of the microbiome of the skin surface, and can cause “crawling” in ancient civilian language.

It can also increase sensitivity, susceptibility to irritation, sensitization, and in extreme cases cause hair loss.

To avoid this, our products are always manufactured at the skin-neutral pH of the animals, so as a result, all irritation factors have been minimized..

NOSE AND EYE IRRITATION

In both dogs and cats, hearing, vision and smelling are mediated by organs rich in receptors. That’s why dog’s smell is so amazingly effective, this is also why cat’s can see every movement in almost complete darkness.

This means that if a product contains substances that affect these delicate senses, even in small quantities, the use of these products can be very inconvenient for animals. This is especially true for products that aim to wipe the hair under the eyes or keep the nose clean.This is why Wrinkle Magic has been formulated to contain no substances that may be uncomfortable for the nose or eyes when used as intended, even if used several times a day.

IRRITATION or ALLERGY?

If there is an active ingredient that is very effective for something, but it’s irritant potential is too high, or the substance is synthetic,contains a high proportion of allergens, we exclude these substances at the beginning of the development process and look for them until we find a natural alternative.

WHAT IS PRO-COMB COMPLEX?

This complex is a mixture of valuable herbal extracts and concentrated compounds of natural skin nourishing and soothing effect, turbocharged with an antioxidant. This combination is a special mixture of synergistic ingredients, and its primary purpose in the product is to clean and care for inflamed, reddened, irritated, damaged skin, as well as to effectively help reduce skin surface irritations.

Chamomile extract

(This is something that no one needs to be introduced to)?. This is something everyone should be introduced to. The chamomile extract we use is a concentrated and rich in active ingredient, and has a very good effect on scarring, inflammation, and irritated skin.

Marigold extract

Organic almond oil

Organic hemp oil

A dry oil with a very unique fatty acid composition; provides important fatty acids to maintain the health and resilience of cell walls, contributing to the successful treatment of chronic allergic and inflammatory symptoms. Moisturizing, regenerating effect, strengthens the hydrolipid layer of the skin and strengthens and brightens the hair. It stimulates cell metabolism. What should we take care of when using it, and what should it not be used for?

It should not be applied to the eyes, as it may cause eye irritation. It does not damage the eyes, but temporary irritation may occur due to a mild surfactant responsible for cleansing.Although this is very rare, if any individual sensitivity reaction to the active ingredients of the product occurs, it is advisable to stop using the product.

The product should not be used as a substitute for medicine. If according to the veterinarian, the cause of the tearing is a serious or moderate ophthalmic problem, this will unfortunately not be affected by frequent use of the product, as the underlying problem of exudation and discoloration does not go away.

In such cases, the opinion of an animal ophthalmologist should be sought.

WHEN AND HOW OFTEN DO WE USE THE PRODUCT?

It depends on whether the use is for hygienic or therapeutic purposes.

We recommend using the product 2-3 times a week for wrinkle cleaning and general hygienic cleaning of  skin and hair.

If the purpose of the cleansing is primarily of a therapeutic nature – e.g. irritation, inflammation, injury on a small surface, then applying twice a day is recommended.

If the goal is to remove discoloration of the hair under the eyes, it is also recommended to use the product twice a day.
